About CTI
Travel intelligence built on real bookings.
Cornerstone Travel Index is a data product from Cornerstone Information Systems — built on more than 30 years of corporate travel data infrastructure. We surface forward-looking signals from confirmed transactions: real bookings, real itineraries, real spend.
The mission
Bring corporate travel intelligence up to the level of every other modern data product.
For decades, "travel intelligence" has meant survey data, panel data, and stated preferences. The actual transactions — the source of truth for what travelers are doing and what programs are spending — sat locked inside booking systems, GDSs, and TMC reports.
CTI changes that. We work directly from confirmed-transaction data and publish daily insights, quarterly reports, and an interactive Data Explorer so practitioners can drill into their own questions instead of waiting for the next conference deck.
The Cornerstone advantage
30+ years of travel data infrastructure.
Cornerstone Information Systems has been building travel data infrastructure since 1996. Today, that infrastructure underpins booking systems and reporting platforms used by 500+ corporate programs and processes more than 10 billion transactions.
CTI is what happens when that infrastructure becomes a public-facing intelligence product.
Platform pillars
The 4 A's that drive every CTI insight.
Aggregate
Knock down data silos. Pull confirmed-transaction data from every system that matters into a single source.
Automate
Lower the cost of insight. Continuous data refresh, automated benchmarks, no manual reporting cycles.
Analyze
Insights that illuminate. Surface patterns, anomalies, and opportunities the surveys miss.
Act
Faster, smarter decisions. Move from numbers to action with the same data your CFO uses.
Methodology
Confirmed-transaction data, tier-based analysis, no brand calls.
CTI's source data is confirmed corporate travel transactions — the bookings that actually happened, with the rates that were actually paid. We don't combine survey data, panel data, or stated preferences with the transaction set.
Analysis is presented at the tier level (luxury / upscale / midscale / economy; legacy / LCC / ULCC) rather than at named-brand level — an editorial and legal policy that protects supplier relationships and respects competitive boundaries.
All published insights pass editorial review before release. Methodology notes accompany every flagship report.
Trust & security
SOC2 and FISMA compliant.
CTI runs on the same infrastructure that processes 10+ billion travel transactions for Cornerstone customers. Data handling, access controls, and audit logging follow the same standards.
