Pricing FAQ
The honest answers.
Do flagship reports come with a subscription?
No. Flagship reports are sold individually — each report has its own one-time price (typically several hundred dollars per report). You can buy any report without subscribing. Each report purchase includes a complimentary 1-year Reader account if you don't already have one.
What does the Subscriber tier add over a free Reader account?
One thing: the CTI Explorer. That's the ad-hoc drill-down environment where you can filter the dataset behind any insight to your own scope, pivot the cuts, and save investigations. The insights library itself is free with a Reader account; Subscribers don't get extra insights, they get a different tool for working with the data underneath.
How is the data different from what GBTA / BTN / Phocuswright publish?
Those publish survey-based research. CTI publishes confirmed-transaction analysis. Both have a place; we don't cite or combine survey data with our transaction set.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel anytime from your account. Access to the CTI Explorer continues through the end of the period you've paid for; your Reader access (free insights) is permanent regardless.
Is there a free trial of the Subscriber tier?
No paid-tier trial. A free Reader account is the equivalent — it opens the entire insights library so you can evaluate the depth and cadence of CTI's editorial output before deciding whether the CTI Explorer is worth the subscription.
